Sven and Lena are hanging around in the dining room, decorating the place with loon photos, pine tree cut outs, stars, wolf photos, and ladyslipper flowers.

Yup, this is Minnesota's statehood, May 11th! So the two are running around and trying to make it known.... modestly of course.

[ Gabe has a small bounce in his step as he's carrying a few boxes. Mostly a bunch of gifts he wants to give to his neighbors, after all he does want to be a decent one again due to how terribly shitty he was one for the past year of being here.

While he doesn't have the best relationship with Sven, he's still brought some gifts for him. Cheeses, a certain Vikings Jersey, which seems nice until you see that he also brought this article to read as well. Where on the otherhand went nuts with giving Lena gifts compared to Sven. As you can tell with this assortment. Before you open that box actually, it has a cute nature ornament made of Pewter before opening the gifts that were meticulously wrapped and tied together. ]

[ She gives him a HUGE hug. This is the best set of gifts she has ever gotten! ]

Aw Gabe! it's beautiful! I love the birds so much. I'm sure the food will be gone in a couple of days, ya know?

[ She chuckles to herself and squeezes him again. You better hope all of your wounds are healed, sir. ]

[ They aren't, they probably won't be until the end of the month - but he just smiles instead with a very small wince that you could blink and miss. He's a master at this. ]

Y-yeah! It took me a while to organize it but I did try to get ya a good assortment!

[ She lets go, stepping back slightly ]

It's perfect! don't ya worry about that! C'mon in. I got snacks for ya, if ya want?

[ He actually is a bit genuinely surprised by this, but he seems to play it off more of being a doofus. ] Haha, I guess then!

[ And he walks on over, his movements are much more natural now and relaxed compared to the last time she saw him - taking a large helping of food. He sees the cheese, has a brief but extremely critical eye of it before taking some for himself.

Afterward he decides to sit down as he takes out a bottle of brandy that he carries for emergencies like this. ]

Pretty good! it was fun decorating, ya know?

[ She raises an eyebrow at the bottle, she's giving you that look. ]

[ He's used to that look now, so he's not at all surprised or shaken by it at it while he drinks and takes a good amount of blueberries into his mouth. ]

Pretty good, I've been just tryin' to relax the best I can with gettin' out and about... ya know? Your food is good too so far...!

[ Well at least he's eating blueberries.... ]

Thank ya! Sven and I worked on it equally, to make it more accurate, ya know? if it was up to him, it would be nothing but turkey, dairy, and corn.

[ Wisconsin loev blueberries - well okay not as much as cherries and cranberries but he still loves them very much! He continues to munch away with his winning table manners. ]

Good that ya worked together... [ For once! ] Either way, I know for a fact he won't ever surpass me in cheese making... [ Or Honey making for that matter now days! Wisconsin is making it pure. ]

... It's pretty good, at least for me to eat. Some improvements can be made, but improvements can be made everywhere ya know?

[ He's now eating that fish, absolutely delicious fish. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A HIGHER STANDARD THAN THAT TO GET TO THE TOP AND ALL THE AWARDS. THAT'S WHY I HAVE THEM, HONEY. ]

Huh? Really? That's good to know ... 'Bout time ya got enough to do that though, ya know?

[ He is enjoying it, that food is going down fast while he drinks his brandy as well. ]

... Never think 'bout that honestly, I dunno I don't really want anything, ya know? [ There are in reality many things he wants, but he's too embarassed to ask for them. They're kind of irrational either way. ]
