Okay as JP I have my 2¢ in. I personaly have found that for me it's not a loseing one dream for another. I see it as a what I'll lose if I do that dream. The one that I have now in my head is seeing the world. Think of say a Final Fantasy or Starwars. Imagine spending say 7-10 years exploreing and liveing a quest that all will glory at. You meet friends that you know 100% that they will be there for you if you even wimpered the words help. Now the part I hate... what do you do after the quest if over? What do you call home? Your friends from the quest start to go there separate ways, back to family, old friends. So say you go back and do the same. You won't know your old friends as you once did. You now fit neather here nor there. You have these great stories to tell experience to give but to people that you don't know as well. All of your inside jokes that you keep on saying won't have any meaning back home. Over time you'll catch back up and fit back in but what then about your other friends from the quest, what of them? Would you hold you promises to them now after you've settled down? You are now torn between two lifes that don't mix.

That is what I feel as I'm over here. The only good thing that I can find of this is that with e-mail I haven't totaly lost contact, and that I'm not not gone for 7-10 years.

So I try to weight things by the things that I can't control, make, fix. I weight things against my friends family and health. I try not to harm any of those three. So I won't spend $80,000 and 3 years of hell for that stingray because it will kill my frienships but I will spread the time and take it slower to eventaly get that bugger on the streets, or even better ask if your friends want to help so you both work on friendships, and a project (STOPMOTION FILM). Friends...

I really appriciate your oppinions as well...Though I find your ideas just as depressing as mine. Now tell me to shut up whenever you please, but it seems to me that one of your biggest fears is completing one dream to come home to no one. Just let me clear something up for you. That will never ever happen! Things change in life and so do the people in it but one thing that never goes away is the love that you share with your friends. Just because things are different, it doesn't mean that the love is gone. I haven't seen you in what, nine months? And I promise that I love you just as much as I did the last time I saw you! You've ALWAYS got a friend in me, no matter what you do ok? And I know I'm not everyone but I'm sure everyone else feels the same way. Thanks for your thoughts.
