What a weekend.. err week!
What a week!! Hell is FINALLY over and Kel and I did awesome at the recitals; yet I must say that I did better Saturday night than Friday night. Becca stayed up with us Friday night and watched the recital with Kel's mom and Cristy. She loved it!! Love you Becca and can't wait to see you this summer! ;0) My parents came up on Saturday. Got to GV at 2 and hung out with Kel and I for a little while before checking in their hotel. We had to leave for the high school and be there at 4 which was ridiculious because the show started at 7 and then 8 the night before but oh well. Andy drove from work to GR and got here at 5:30- amazing timing actually and sat with my parents. I love how my parents really like him and they all get along great!! Andy stayed the night with me at school because he didn't have to work the next day. Got up at 8am for breakfast with the parents and my sister after Kel and I were rudely woken up by a phone call at 2:30 in t he *uckin morning.... did i mention how I can't stand being woken up by the phone while I am sleeping??!! I hate it!!
Anyways, after a lovely breakfast at Big Boy's, he and I just took a drive and we ended up driving all the way to Lake Michigan in Holland. Andy and I walked around on the warm sand for a couple hours and walking in the cold water which numbed my feet but I didn't care. He and I also kindly warned some old ladies of a snake lying in the sand; that was funny! He comment: "ladies, do you like snake?" I calmly told the one lady to walk forward away from it.. it was lying in the grass/sand until the post which kinda blocked their view of it so they didn't see it. But I had to say something; I could just see one of them having a heart attack and I didn't want to deal with something like that. lol
After Andy fell asleep on the way back to school, I woke him up for Subway. Sadly, I had to part with him; he had a hockey game later that night so he needed to go back home for that and for work the next day. It is soo hard for me to say goodbye to him; I hate doing it, but all I have left is less than 3 weeks until I come home again for the summer and the longest we can go is 3 weeks without seeing one another. Once he left, Kel and I got into major cleaning mode and cleaned out everything that we didn't need for the next couple weeks and dumped it in our cars. We love the feeling of an empty room because all it can mean is: THAT WE ARE LEAVING THIS TINY-ASS ROOM FOR THE SUMMER!!!! Thank God!!
