I absolutely detest my hair cut. Not only did I pay twice as much for it as I was planning to, it's a granny cut.
I didn't realize until now just how much I hate people shaving my hairline. Some people hate the word moist, I hate the feeling of buzz-cut hair. I always tend toward revulsion to certain tactile feelings. Buzz-cut hair is only of them. I am currently desperately wishing my hair will grow an inch overnight. I've always assumed that a hair dresser would never cut someone's hair shorter than their hair line without checking with them. "Do you want it this length? It'll be above your hairline, so I'll have to shave the your neck a bit." Something like that. I would have told the stylist no, if I'd known that she was going to shave my neck! I was tempted to tell her to cut it an inch lower, but I assumed she knew better what would look best. She didn't!
I'm now forced to resort to pulling my hair back into a ponytail or using massive amounts of pomade to make my hair look reasonable. That means I'll likely finally have to resort to daily showers. My hair'll have to have the pomade removed at the end of each day. What a mess!
The only upside I can see, is that I'll finally master the art of using pomade.
