I've officially got all my classes figured out. I'm taking four classes this trimester. Two technically economics and two other. I'm doing Entrepreneurship, Modern Economic History of Europe, Business Ethics, and Public speaking. None of them are strictly lecture and exams courses. Entrepreneurship's grade is 80% group work; Economic History has a (optional, but I'm doing it) paper; Business ethics has a take home exam and case study; Public speaking is all performance and evaluation skills. This should be an unusual term. Also, I'm going to try and land a part-time job. I really should get off my ass about that.
Currently, I'm planning on going to The Stratford festival and the Ottawa Canada Day Celebrations with Becky. From what Carroll tells me Ottawa may turn into a big family reunion. Ottawa is closer to Nova Scotia and the Celebrations are suppose to be spectacular.
If the parents can afford it/I've managed to make it. I'll try to get back to S'toon at the end of summer to see friends, dad, and grandparents.
Till then I've got loads of work! I have to read my Philosophy textbook and choose one of the two topics for my essay.
So far, I've finished my entrepreneurship textbook, but it was short, and photocopied all the articles to read to decide which topic to choose for history, but I still have a never ending list of things to do. I still don't have sheets or a pillow at my new place. Or my printer.
Right now I'm relaxing while waiting for a random event about Poland to start. There's a movie at the end. I'm feeling tuckered-out and I've done barely anything today. Lecture, group meeting w/ prof about a paper, chasing down books, changing my desktop picture (It took like 2 hrs to find one that worked for me; I'm picky about backgrounds since I rarely change them and I prefer not to be embarrassed by it if my computer has a breakdown)
