in my third career, when i retire from my post-world domination chef-ness, i will become a (famous) linguist and do research on college specific vocab, for my academic enternainment....
but lo, this is not about linguistics or even my mushroom soup dinner of doom, it's about....
SEXILE!
today me and my favorite Jontae went to my room to get a saftey pin. it was darker than most afternoons, but i didn't hear anything upon knocking. i went in to find my roomie and her boyfriend in bed - he was just watching TV, she was kinda napping, it was still (and always is) ackward. oh well. we left and i was just about to bitch about how she was supposed to leave a sign, when i found a really thin hairband on the handle....
i love my roomie dearly but i wish we were real friends, so that there was more connection (she's wicked hard to get to talk about anything) and therefore better communication. it's very Eva-like to say "hey, lemme know if you're screwing today" but not in the context of quiet, prudish roomate who indeed has just become "a woman" (wink wink nudge nudge say no more).
oh well.
next year is better: Athena and I get closer every time we talk (it's getting pretty serious, we're moving in next year ;) and her boyfriend is MY friend - big points there. so i'm pretty psyched, basically. no tension, no quiet, just Eva and Athena chillin' like villians... hehe.
also, Clark means well but main students are "waitlisted" (homeless) at present. i'm sure that they will sleep on my couch, but that still kinda sucks... for them. so very glad to have a roof over my head, oh yes.
