Christmas time
The older I get, the more awkward I feel recieving gifts for christmas, I much prefer giving them. I certainly have more than I deserve. The best gift I remember ever recieving was a bicycle. There is nothing like being 8-12 years old and getting a bike and being imbued with the sense of freedom it brings, At least that was the case for me.
For the last few years I've always tried to give away a few bicycles to needy kids. This year I gave away 15. It makes me smile to imagine the adventures they may have exploring and learning who they will become.
