Life
sooooo.... it's been years since I've updated my personal journal, figured it was time to catch up on a little bit of life. Lately I suppose I haven't had much to write about, so I'm really out of practice. I've just been going to school and dealing with shit, but lately things have actually been looking up for me. I got a new job at an awesome food store working in their bakery, and now, since everyone is leaving, I'm kind of indispensable ...YAY job security! On the downside, this means that during the month that I'm going to be the busiest with con stuff and getting to Hannah's wedding, I'm also going to be working 40+ hours a week, which is good for the money, but bad for my sleep schedule and general health.
I've just moved to Chapel Hill with my best friend, we have an awesome apartment (that is still in a little bit of chaos from the move) it has a COSTUME CLOSET!!!! A whole closet just for our costumes...and Chiki has organized it beautifully. we have so much planned for our costuming stuff this year and we recently acquired a Cosplay Sister Group to flounce around with!!! BLITZ osplay is amazing and us made up of some VERY talented cosplayers. we met them at Anime Boston this year and we really hit it off. Our groups reunited for Otakon 2010 and we had the BEST TIME EVER!!!!! and now we're in the process of trying to get Cait and mark to move their asses down here to NC so we can all be awesome together all the time!
Speaking of awesome, Mark is this fabulous Cosplayer in BLITZ and i kind of like him.... a lot. He make a wonderful Link and is sweet and funny (even if he is a little full of himself :P Diva) and even though I'm positive that I made a complete fool of myself last weekend, he seems to like me anyways....I even received some beautiful flowers this morning. It was the sweetest thing anyone has done for me in a really long time. Actually, I don't think anyone has ever sent me flowers for no reason before.... I had a lovely time dancing around my apartment making chiki want to barf.
We're planning some awesome costumes for AUSA which is our next con with the BLITZers, so until then, i suppose i'll give this whole typing thing a rest...... Life is awesome...the end.
