Condo Blues
As you may or may not remember, I was voted to the board of my condo association. This week I had to go door to door to collect proxy ballots that were due at the last meeting. After collecting the ballot I asked for any thoughts about the association. This is how the conversation usually went.
Any thoughts or comments before I take off?
Yes, I would like some clarity about what our dues are spent on. Last year it didn’t seem like we got a lot for the amount of money that we put in.
Ok, well . . . did you go to the annual meeting?
No
Did you go to the last meeting?
No
Did you read the newsletter?
No
Did you read the attachment to your proxy ballot?
No, you wouldn’t happen to have a copy of that, would you?
