I watched Hero last night. I was expecting something close to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, what I got was a lot closer to Saturday morning kung-fu theater. The visual effects were excellent, especially the colors, but they weren’t enough to save the movie from the bad voice-overs and funky story line. Maybe I should have watched it with sub titles instead.

Today is the last full day of Mom’s visit. I hate to see her leave. I’ll be all alone again after tomorrow for a whole week. What am I going to do with all this free time? Hmmm decisions decisions...
