I've been having trouble with my computer lately. Virus trouble. Shut down comp trouble, the kind of trouble that disables Explorer when you try to run the anti-virus program.
The kind of trouble that costs $98 to fix if I take it into the shop. I don't have $98 to spend to format the HD by taking it back to the dealer, but it has me wishing that I knew how to do it myself. My brother is trying something... not sure what... but it still out of commission.
Realistically I'd just like to by myself a new one. A laptop. That way I can keep it in my room and only I use it. I can put all my book marks on it, and save files to me hearts desire without wondering if my brother is fiddling my stuff.
I'll let my mom use it, cuz she mostly just like to play online games and check her e-mail. It would also be nice to have the computer be in my room rather than the way the desktop is in the basement - it always gets cold down there, and I end up with a chill.
Hopefully I'll be able to.
I have one P/T job right now, and I applied for another at the local art store. I'd like to get hte job, because it's a nice, relaxed atmosphere, but it's tough balancing two P/T. Then again, I need the money. So I'll give the manager a call tomorrow and see what we can see.
I'm Trying to make plans to go back to school - this fall. Imagine that. I graduate from one program in June and I want to start some more come September. I was talking it over with my mom, and she's happy that I want to do more, so I'll have a greater base to work from when looking for a job. First I'll need to be up to date on the remainder of my tuition with IADT so I can get my transcript, (at last check I had 3.7 GPA out of 4.0!) which I'll then compare to what my local college has and see if I can finish with a degree in Graphic Design. THEN, I'll have to square completely with YorkU to be able to finish my Arts Degree with them.
So much to learn. So little money.
