The Eleventh Hour
So-ho-ho:
Sunday Night Thoughts:
1. Vidding is hard. I have seriously, like SERIOUSLY, so much respect for people that vid. I have all these ideas and this little bitty 1:30 song and a tight focus but it's quickly spiraling out of control and my cuts are funky and I'm not hitting the beats and parts are too fast and parts are too slow and I worry if it's making a mishmash or would even be good to watch and maybe my computer can't handle it and I HATE the fact that everything's branded with Pussycat Dolls and I wonder if I have enough eps to draw from or if I'm missing this perfect scene with a clock and then I go watch vids I love (Two-Step, What it Feels Like to be a Ghost, Ghost Boy, etc...etc...) and despair from their awesomeness. Making it look effortless all the while encapsulating the power of the show is a skill and talent.
2. SparkPeople health kick (not kealth hick, thank you Mme. Spoonerism) is going okay. I've been walking and exercising consistently on the weekends, flailing through the weekdays. I'm working on eating more vegetables and fruit, drinking 6-8 glasses of water, getting a sane amount of sleep, and following the exercise plan. I'm letting any restrictions on the diet fall by the wayside until I feel super dug in to the general health plan. To me, right now, that's a great place to be. Trying to act like I'll fall into line 100% is never going to be realistic. Besides, when you're getting all taut and kicky, I think the desire to eat alfalfa sprouts and lima beans increases. We're working on it. I've walked 7 miles this weekend and I feel like I could knock over a brick wall with my calves of steel. Whee. Maybe that's hyperbole, but you can get pretty damn far on hyperbole, to be quite honest.
3. Watched Annie Hall today. Huh is all I have to say about that.
4. I am not, currently, in love with anybody. I do think that Jensen Ackles' fellow is swell, despite his insistence on not being the next Paul Newman. Or something. I swear, I'm going to pay 10 bucks to go sit in the back of the theatre and watch him through the holes between my fingers.
5. It CANNOT be 11:00pm already. I FORBID IT.
