On 11th March 2004, 191 people died on a terrorist attack. They put bombs on 3-4 different trains going to Madrid at rush hour. It's the largest attack we've ever suffered. It was very hard seeing the victims especially the kids and pregnant women.
I woke up, saw the date and couldn't quite put my finger on why it should be important. Soon enough, I remembered. I'm so grateful that it turned out to be insignificant enough for me personally to almost forget it, even with my father so close to Atocha at the time, but I hope things like that happen less and less in the world. It's a slim hope, but a hope nonetheless.
