On a more positive note, I got a letter from Santa Cruz and Berkeley. Apparently there's a dual engineering degree program I can apply for. It lasts five years, but at the end of it I get a BA in a liberal arts major of my choice from Santa Cruz, and a BA in the engineering major of my choice from Berkeley. Ideally, I want Business Management Economics as my L.A. and Mechanical Engineering as my eng. major. This is exactly what I want out of college, I hope it works out.
Thought => To hell with all of you who are protesting Valentines day. Not only are you people anti-American, but you're bastards who don't know the value of money. In the U.S., pointless holidays are a way of life. They feed our free market economy, and allow for all sorts of seasonal jobs and products. If people only spent money on the things they absolutely needed, capitalism would go to shit in an instant. That means you're communist AND anti-American.
Specifically, I think Valentines is awesome. Considering the sad state of society, people need every excuse they can get to express their love for one another. I'm not just saying that because I have a significant other, because I don't. Being alone on Valentines day is awesome, because you can buy and eat chocolate. Or you can hang out with friends in the same boat as you, and bitch about how much Valentines day sucks.
