ZOMG Chasing Cars
Lastnight was one of the best concerts I have been too in a long time. otakuraven and pbvalla and I were right up front, I'm talking clutching the security fence. It was amazing. I of course forgot my camera, so all shots are done by my phone. Yes, you heard me right my phone.
We got there around 6:30 and sat in a line, but we still made it right up front. Amazing. Lynsey, Cary and I talked with the security guard Reggie for about an hour before the show started, and he promised us anything that he could get us. Lynsey really wanted the Snow Patrol set list, I really didn't care, though a little something is always cool. So during the song, "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" Gary called a girl onto the stage because the woman who orginally sang it was not touring with them, and he gave her the lyrics and she sang with him, once she would get done with one page he would throw it into the crowd. Reggie picked it up and gave it to Lynsey. Once the show was all over though the set lists were thrown out over the crowd, I ended up catching one. Pure Luck. Amazing. And since I knew Lynsey really wanted the set list I traded her. Pretty sweet. I now have it hanging in my dorm room with the ticket. It was very cool. I think Cary and Lynsey would agree. and now on to the pics...

Well I made it back in one piece, even though I have very sore feet and my throat is raw. Screaming for 5 minutes to get Snow Patrol back out on stage, takes a lot out of ya. But I am not here in NY, with the OMG Snow, its all pretty and white and just...wow. It's a complete change. I really can not believe I was in Orlando less then 24 hours ago. It's all very crazy, and I'm loving it. Now if I can just get my paper done, I'll be in complete bliss, which I have not felt in quite some time.
It turns out that I will be in fact going to that concert in the city. I am so excited. Steve is coming up here to hang out on Saturday morning and then we will head back into the city that night for drinks and the concert. Other than that, no plans have been made. But I am in NY, and that in itself is quite refreshing.
