It really baffles me...

...that I would get more sympathy cards than I did christmas cards. I'm trying to figure out this phenomenon. It's not that I don't find the sympathy cards nice and all, but really I can't understand why more people think to send out cards of that kind rather than a nice holiday card. I have to say having gone through two deaths this past year, I'm not one that likes all the sympathy I get when a loved one dies. I hate hearing over and over again "he's in a better place" "I'm sorry for your loss" or "are you okay"... these words just don't help me at all...though I must be the only one, because the Hallmark card industry certainly has a lot of sympathy cards, I should know, I have enough here.

I have just under 4 days before I head back to school, so I'm covered in laundry and trying to find everything I brought home at the end of the semester...but I leave for Winter Haven tomorrow morning and will be there till Monday night or Tuesday morning...and then back to school...well back to laundry...
