Iranian Holocaust Denial Conference
The logic behind the "challenge" to Western freedom of speech is very troublesome. To make the argument work, one would have to consider a particular religion's myths about history and theology to be historical and theological truths the way the Holocaust is historical truth. We have so much evidence of the Holocaust - including lots and lots of people who experienced it who are still alive today to speak of it. A friend of my family was a Holocaust survivor. I've seen his serial number on his arm. I've never seen Allah, God, Jahve, Jesus, Moses, or Muhammad. If the government of Iran reflects a logic that a lot of people use, we have a problem. A big problem.
