Yah, 31
30 was such a nice, clean-sounding age. AND a really fabulous year, I will add. Lots going on. This promises to be, as well. I think the plan is to have me student teaching by this time next year. yechcchh. I LIKE the teaching aspect of my current job, I just find the classroom a bit scary. And, though I'm getting a 5-8 Science/middle school licensure on top of my elem.ed. license for a reason, I guess my student teaching will be, no matter what, at the elementary level. Bah.
Right, so I still love being a mommy, still have the cutest and easiest and sweetest little girlie ever. My job part-time at the nature center is a great fit with that, and the boy and I both taking a class this term hasn't killed us yet OR resulted in the house totally falling apart. Now, I can't recall the last time I got through all the mail, but ... hey, can't do it all.
Um. Right. So if anyone reads this and is LOCAL (or wants to come visit on short notice ... we have the upstairs apartment fairly functional, now.), we're going to celebrate my birthday next Saturday the 18th 4pm 'til ??? with a bonfire. Email or call for details if I don't already have you on my developing evite list.
