Yeah, I've never been good at journaling of any kind. Too bad, since I really do enjoy storytelling.
Hmmm.
There's no WAY I can get anyone at all caught up. You'll just have to call me up. And have I READ any journal entries? Hellno, of course. So if I'm supposed to have a clue about what's up in your life 'cause I have access to this stuff, I'm sorry ... I suck at it. So anyway,
I'm just here to get some more people sending powerful good vibe waves my way on a couple subjects. I had a great interview today. If I've babbled about interviews in the past, no, I didn't get the job. I'm still doing the same thing I have for 2 1/2 years and still driven crazy by it.
This is a just-barely-short-of-full-time-so-they-don't-have-to-give-benefits permanent naturalist job. It's only short of the Holy Grail in its lack of benefits, but hey ... I'm married so as long as my honey can manage to keep the dotcom he works for afloat ...! I REALLY dig what this place is doing for the community it serves and I would definitely love to get to do what I love most FULL TIME! Yahoo! Regular work, regular pay ... yeah.
I was the last interview. They should be making their decisions in their heads tonight at home, in their offices and conversations (there were 4 of 'em on the panel, and all lots of fun) tomorrow or the next day. If you can just send some positive thoughts my way before the end of the week, maybe I can finally land a real job!!! (I'm willing to try anything, at this point.)
That'd be nice to be able to say at reunion next month, hmmm? That, along with the fact that by then we should have bought a house. That'll be a little easier to manage if I get this job, too. Of course.
Today I got to play with 4 pairs of parents/toddlers-or-infants ("Nature Babies") and pretend to be a chipmunk crawling through an IKEA pop-up tunnel and teach songs and all sorts of silly things. I'd forgotten how fun paper bag puppets can be. =) I do so love my line of work!
