People do things for three reasons:
1. Out of obligation
2. To receive recognition
3. Out of love
Why do you pick up a friend who doesn't have a ride? Why do you lend someone a helping hand? Why do you compliment someone or give them a pat on the back? Do you do these things because you have to? Because you want the attention? Or because you care about the person- whether it be a stranger, a friend or an enemy?
