i do not know if anyone else has seen this movie but i highly recommend it. it is called born in brothels. it is about a group of children who grow up in the red light district of india and a woman who was documenting the living conditions through photography. she ends up falling in love with the children and teaching them photography and showing their work in galleries to raise money to put them in boarding schools. it shows the photos the children take so it is their perspective on their world. she tries to help them break the cycle. it helps put things in perspective about our lives here and how well we have it. also it shows how powerful art is!

amusing thought: i was in brunos the other day picking up stuff and heard them playing master and servant by depeche mode. i was amused and confused. i was dressed all in black so it almost felt right but then there was flourescent lighting and produce.
so another year is over and also another birth year past. i like having my birthday near the new year. it is refreshing. this is a new phase of death and rebirth. another chapter closed another to begin. while i am stressed about certain things certain things i am thankful for. i love my little home/ nook i have made for myself, i am constantly reminded how awesome my friends are and how important that is, my boyfriend rocks.
i went and hung out at the garage and went to the drag show. in the words of diana its not a real party without cosmos and drag queens. neal even went. most folks were there, some could not make it. mr ryan sent me a deerhoof album...thanks woobie. sarah i hope you are feeling better, i love you. miss sherry surprised me with fattening cupcakes that were chocolate with pink frosting after dance class. yum!
intermediate dance class will be changing to mondays soon and i can't wait. i thought i was not going to be able to take and i was super bummed out about it. although we have picked up zills and drumming so i am so jazzed about learning the musical end of it.
since i have been out of school i have had time to sew more! still looking for more time to read!
