Summery: Kyuhyun and Sungmin are best friends. But what happens when they each start seeing other people and their feelings for each other grow deeper? We can't judge things by the way they are seen. We need to learn to look beneathe the surace and see what some of us try to hide. Friendship always gives way to love.
Hyukjae snuggle deeper into the warmth he felt early the next day. He opened his eyes only to meet a sleeping Donghae's face. Donghae looked so handsome and peaceful in his sleep. It was hard to believe that when he was awake, he was a handful and very childish. But yet Hyukjae still felt safe and secure with him. He didn't know why or how this fish boy captured his heart so fast. He traced Donghae's features with his finger but not really touching his face afraid that he will wake up the other. The memory of what they did last night came back to Hyukjae and he started to blush. He felt embarrassed of what happened last night, how could he get carried away into doing this with someone he barely knows. Even when he was together with Junsu they never went this far. His first time was with a complete stranger. Someone, he knew nothing about except that Donghae would always think of his stomach first and that Donghae was childish more than anyone he knew. But somehow he felt safe with him. Like nothing can harm him when Donghae held him like this.
"Do you always think so much after a great night?" Donghae asked all of a sudden surprising Hyukjae but tightening his hold on Hyukjae's waist. "Good morning."
"How long have you been awake?" Hyukjae asked trying to push Donghae away.
"I have been up since 5 a.m." Donghae replied moving a little as he felt Hyukjae push on him. "I just wanted to watch you sleep a little bit more."
"Wae?" Hyukjae questioned, blushing a little.
"Like I said to Junsu, I want to get to know my boyfriend." Donghae replied as he made Hyukjae lay on his back trapping him between the bed and himself.
"But Donghae, you are not my real boyfriend." Hyukjae informed him "I barely know you."
"I think we got to know each other well enough last night, don't you?" Donghae asked as he started to kiss Hyukjae's neck just above the mark he made last night. Right above the spot which that had Hyukjae moaning his name last night.
"Stop it Donghae." Hyukjae said pushing Donghae off him with all his strength. "Last night was something that should have never happened."
"What do you mean?" Donghae questioned, this time he can feel his hurt raising.
"Wasn't last night just for show?" Hyukjae returned "You said so yourself, now it will make us more believable to Junsu and he will leave me alone."
"Do you think that it was only for that?" Donghae inquired trying to stop the tears from falling
"You think I would use you like that? Or I would allow myself to use you like that if ..."
"If what Donghae?" Hyukjae asked
"No, you know what, you're right you don't know me." Donghae said "But since we are in this together and it looks like it’s going to be for a long time since Junsu has not given up yet after a year. I suggest you get to know me and how I really am."
"Maybe we should really spend time together huh?" Hyukjae said with a smile. "Maybe we should really go on a date."
"Or if you want to break up just tell me when and how." Donghae added "But till then I suggest you take this time to think and get to know me like I said earlier."
Donghae pulled on his boxers and grabbed a towel and his bath kit. He wanted to wash up before he headed downstairs to help with the final touches in the cafe that Leeteuk Hyung built. He also needed to get away from Hyukjae for a while. Before he cried in front of the person that had managed to make him fall in love once again' and in such a short time as well. Donghae was impulsive yes. But he never did things without thinking of the consequences. He had agreed to this because he knew that he was attracted to this guy. He wanted to know where this would take them. But he knew that getting hurt was a possibility but he still had to take this chance.
"Donghae," Hyukjae called just as Donghae reached the door "How about we have breakfast together?"
"It's nearly 11:30, Monkey." Donghae said smiling a little. "I need a bath then I also need to help Sungmin hyung with the opening of the café; which you are invited too as well."
"But I can't show up alone." Hyukjae said "What if Junsu is there it will look strange."
"I'll pick you up at 6:30 then we can have dinner then head for the cafe." Donghae said
"Fine but dinner will be my treat." Hyukjae said
"I thought Monkey still didn't have money." Donghae inquired with a confused look on his face.
Hyukjae placed on his clothes and gave him a gummy smile as he left the room.
"Be on time and you'll find out what I mean." Hyukjae said as he closed the door.
He left Donghae with a confused look. Now he needed to shower and find Kunin so that he can borrow money and give Donghae a special dinner. He was still unsure of what he was feeling but he was also willing to try and see where this relationship was going to take him. The minute he was in his room he dialed Kunin's number and asked if he could meet her somewhere in secret. He asked her if he could borrow some money because he was planning a special dinner for Donghae. Kunin said that she would be more than happy to lend him some money after all her parents gave them so much allowance that she does not know what to spend it all in. She also told him that she owed Donghae and apologized after the way her brother has treated him. Kunin said that she'll be at Starbucks in 20 minutes she just needed to fix somethings. With that Hyukjae place down the phone and happily took his shower.
Meanwhile downstairs in the cafe, Sungmin was busy bossing around everyone. Kyuhyun sat back with Leeteuk, Heechul and Hankyung. The four of them tried to help out but Sungmin was in panic mode and he was starting to get grumpy and snappy at the same time. It was also the same time Kibum and Donghae stepped into the cafe and got Sungmin's attention.
"Oh no." Donghae said
"What's wrong?" Kibum asked
"Yah! Why are you two so late?" Sungmin shouted at his brother.
"Hyung the grand opening is tomorrow." Donghae informed him. "Tonight is just a trial run if the students will come."
"Ye, but it’s just as important." Sungmin said to his brother as he pouted.
"Sungmin, there's a favor I wanted to ask you." Kibum said leading Sungmin away from Donghae as a distraction to which Donghae smiled gratefully for as he made his way to the other four.
"What is it Kibummie?" Sungmin said smiling sweetly at Kibum.
"I was going to ask if you can be my alibi to my parents." Kibum asked
"Your leaving before the opening of the cafe that you help made." Sungmin inquired pouting a little bit more to which Kibum found irresistibly cute.
"No me and my boyfriend will be leaving after the opening." Kibum said "Please cover for me and make sure you forward my parents calls to my phone if the call you."
"Sure it won't be a problem." Sungmin said smiling at him
"Thank you." Kibum told him hugging Sungmin and then looked at Kyuhyun's reaction.
He could tell Kyuhyun was pissed but he was stopping himself from walking over to where Sungmin and Kibum were. Kyuhyun had just gotten into trouble again by punching Kibum the night before and he was glad Sungmin did not get that mad at him. But Kyuhyun did the sternness scolding of his life last night. But he was just grateful that Sungmin still left him sleep over. Kibum let Sungmin go just as Henry entered the cafe, Sungmin was about to yell at the youngest one who entered but one look on the sad cute face made all his anger go away. He quickly went over to the younger one.
"Henli, what's wrong?" Sungmin asked placing an arm around Henry's shoulders.
"It's nothing Hyung." Henry said trying to whip his tears away.
"Then you would not have such a sad look on your face if it was nothing." Sungmin told him
"Come have a seat and tell Hyung everything."
To which henry told Sungmin and the rest he was starting to feel home sick. He thought that it would be easy being away from home. Being away from all that he loved and trying to forget the unrequited love he has for one of his closest friends back in China. He also told them that he was starting to feel left out because his roommate refuses to do anything with him. Sungmin glared at Kyuhyun who in turn glared at Henry. According to Kyuhyun in his defense he offered to teach Henry how to play star craft. It was not his fault that Henry suck at the game like Sungmin did.
"You can stay in my room with me tonight Henry." Sungmin said "And every other night when you feel you need the company of friends."
"But won't your boyfriend mind?" Henry asked
"What boyfriend?" Both Kyuhyun and Sungmin inquired at the same time.
"Don't glare at me." Kibum said with a smile as he saw Kyuhyun glaring at him. "I didn't put that idea into his head."
"I didn't mean him, I mean Kyuhyun." Henry replied
"Kyuhyun's not my boyfriend, Henli." Sungmin said "he is just my best friend and no he will not mind will you now Kyuhyunnie."
"No as long as I get to stay there too." Kyuhyun said
"Fine." Sungmin told him "Henli, why don't we go get a few of your stuff and put them in my room k?"
"Ok." Henry said
"Would you guys mind fixing the cafe for the last time." Sungmin said with a shy smile. "I need to help Henli out."
"It's fine the way it is, Min." Hankyung said putting an arm around Kyuhyun's shoulders. "Take your time in helping out our cute little dongsaeng."
When Sungmin and Henry were out of ear shot.
"Wow, Kyuhyun." Leeteuk said "I didn't know you had that much self-control and confidence that Henry won't take your place."
"Why would you think that, hyung?" Kyuhyun asked taking Hankyung's arm out of his shoulders.
"For one he is adorably cute." Heechul said "and we all know how much Sungmin loves cute things."
"Plus he is so sweet and single." Kibum added "Who knows they might be a perfect match."
With that Kyuhyun left to follow Sungmin and Henry while the other's tried to contain their laughter.
"That is just too easy." heechul said
"Yeah those two have been dancing around each other for years." Donghae said "I wish they would just hurry up and get together."
"All good things come to those who wait." Kibum said.

“Why do you keep appearing everywhere I go?!” Kangin asked as he saw a student in front of his apartment. “And how do you know where I live?”
“I followed you because I don’t get to see much of you in school since I’m not taking your course.” The other responded.
Kangin sighed and massaged his temples. “Look Mr. Park Jungu…”
“Leeteuk, call me Leeteuk.”
“Mr. Park Jungsu, you shouldn’t be here. If someone found out we would both get in trouble.” Kangin said but it looked like the other wasn’t paying much attention.
“I don’t care if we get in trouble; I only care about how you feel about me!”
“If I tell you how I feel about you then you’ll leave me alone?” Leeteuk hesitated a little before nodding.
Kangin sighed again, it seemed like that’s all he had been doing since he met Park Jungsu. “I… well I-I…” he couldn’t say how he felt for the other since he didn’t know exactly how he felt for him. “I only see you as a s-student.”
Leeteuk notice that Kangin was looking at anything except straight in his eyes. “Don’t lie…” Leeteuk said as he approached the professor. “Do you really only see me as a student? I’m not your student.”
“B-but yo-your still a-a stu-dent…” kangin felt uncomfortable as the later approached him. He kept backing up till he hit the wall.
“Do you really want to see me as a student? Do you only want to have a teacher-student relationship?” Leeteuk stopped an inch away from Kangin, making the teacher start sweating and unable to breathe.
Slowly Leeteuk closed the gap between them and Kangin wanted to push him away but at the same time he wanted to feel those lips. It felt wrong because Leeteuk was a student and he was a teacher, but those lips felt so soft and addictively good as soon as they touched his lips. He didn’t want to respond to Leeteuk’s kiss but he couldn’t hold back, soon he started the latter back. They both go lost in the kiss that they forgot how long they been kissing not even breaking apart for air.
“Kangin?” Kangin got back to reality once he heard his name and the familiar voice who had said it.
He quickly pushed Leeteuk away making the angel confused. “Y-yoonji!”
Leeteuk looked back to see who Kangin was talking to. “Who is she?” Leeteuk asked Kangin.
Kangin looked at Leeteuk with an apologetic look before answering. “Leeteuk this is Yoonji, my fiancée.”
Leeteuk felt his heart breaking into a thousand pieces and his eye’s felt like they were about to explode. He bowed to Yoonji and quickly left.
When he was walking out of the complex he tripped. “Stupid Kangin!” he frustrated said as he wiped a tear that had fallen. “Stupid me for liking him.” He whispered.
“Leeteuk Hyung?”
Leeteuk turned back when he heard his name being called and quickly wiped away the tears when he saw who it was. “Leeteuk hyung, is it really you?” the other asked but Leeteuk just kept staring at him. “Don’t you remember me?”
“Y-yunho?” Leeteuk asked and a smile appeared on his lips when the other nodded. “Omg, it’s been so long!” he said as he hugged Yunho. “What are you doing here? I thought you went to study abroad.”
Yunho was the first to break the hug to look at Leeteuk. “I just came back a few days ago. Things didn’t go as planned so I came back.”
“I missed you!” Leeteuk said as he hugged the latter again.
“I missed you too Teukie.” Yunho felt like someone was watching them but ignored the feeling. “Do you want to come inside my apartment for a while?”
Leeteuk looked at his friend and then up at the complex and then back at Yunho. “Y-you live here?” he asked pointing at the complex and Yunho nodded.
“I live on the 4th floor.”
“4-4th f-floor?”
“Yeah, but everything is a mess since I haven’t had time to unpack properly.” Yunho said and grabbed a hold of Leeteuk’s hand. “Come on.”
Leeteuk was dragged to the elevator by Yunho and into the 4th floor where he had just been a few minutes ago. When they were heading to Yunho’s apartment Leeteuk wished that they wouldn’t go past Kangin’s condo, but they were getting nearer to it so Leeteuk hoped that they would pass threw it quickly so the teacher wouldn’t see them or hear them. Leeteuk didn’t want Kangin to see him go inside another man’s apartment. They came to a stop and Leeteuk was shocked to see where they had stopped.
“You live here?” Leeteuk said pointing at the door that was right across Kangin’s condo.
Yunho nodded and got his key to open the door. On the other hand Leeteuk got pale when he heard the door to Kangin’s apartment being opened. He wanted to run so Kangin wouldn’t see him but it was too late, even if he ran he wouldn’t be able to hide. He hoped that Yunho would open the door before the one coming out from across came out completely, but he wasn’t that lucky.
“Mr. Kim, nice to see you again.” Yunho greeted.
“Yunho ssi, how did you like the college?” Kangin asked.
“It’s great. Oh do you know Park Jungsu? He is my childhood friend.” Leeteuk had no choice but to turn around and face Kangin.
“Nice meeting you Mr. Kim.” Leeteuk bowed.
Kangin was a little confused on why Leeteuk acted like he didn’t know him but he played along. “Nice to meet you too Jungsu ssi.”
“I thought you two may know each other since Leeteuk attend the same college where you work and he had just came out of here…”
“I was here because one of my classmates lives in this building.” Leeteuk lied again making Kangin clench his fists.
Kangin didn’t know why he felt like grabbing Leeteuk and taking him into his apartment, but he knew he shouldn’t because his fiancée is inside and Leeteuk was a student. He admitted he felt attracted to Leeteuk, but he had to ignore it because he loved Yoonji.
“Yunho, let’s go inside. Mr. Kim must have stuff to do.” Leeteuk said and Yunho nodded.
“We’ll see you later Mr. Kim.” Yunho bowed.
“Call me Kangin”
Yunho finally opened the door to his apartment and let Leeteuk in first and then he entered while Leeteuk walked towards the elevator.

“B-but yo-your still a-a stu-dent…” kangin felt uncomfortable as the later approached him. He kept backing up till he hit the wall.
“Do you really want to see me as a student? Do you only want to have a teacher-student relationship?” Leeteuk stopped an inch away from Kangin, making the teacher start sweating and unable to breathe.
Slowly Leeteuk closed the gap between them and Kangin wanted to push him away but at the same time he wanted to feel those lips. It felt wrong because Leeteuk was a student and he was a teacher, but those lips felt so soft and addictively good as soon as they touched his lips. He didn’t want to respond to Leeteuk’s kiss but he couldn’t hold back, soon he started the latter back. They both go lost in the kiss that they forgot how long they been kissing not even breaking apart for air.
“Kangin?” Kangin got back to reality once he heard his name and the familiar voice who had said it.
He quickly pushed Leeteuk away making the angel confused. “Y-yoonji!”
Leeteuk looked back to see who Kangin was talking to. “Who is she?” Leeteuk asked Kangin.
Kangin looked at Leeteuk with an apologetic look before answering. “Leeteuk this is Yoonji, my fiancée.”
Leeteuk felt his heart breaking into a thousand pieces and his eye’s felt like they were about to explode. He bowed to Yoonji and quickly left.
When he was walking out of the complex he tripped. “Stupid Kangin!” he frustrated said as he wiped a tear that had fallen. “Stupid me for liking him.” He whispered.
“Leeteuk Hyung?”
Leeteuk turned back when he heard his name being called and quickly wiped away the tears when he saw who it was. “Leeteuk hyung, is it really you?” the other asked but Leeteuk just kept staring at him. “Don’t you remember me?”
“Y-yunho?” Leeteuk asked and a smile appeared on his lips when the other nodded. “Omg, it’s been so long!” he said as he hugged Yunho. “What are you doing here? I thought you went to study abroad.”
Yunho was the first to break the hug to look at Leeteuk. “I just came back a few days ago. Things didn’t go as planned so I came back.”
“I missed you!” Leeteuk said as he hugged the latter again.
“I missed you too Teukie.” Yunho felt like someone was watching them but ignored the feeling. “Do you want to come inside my apartment for a while?”
Leeteuk looked at his friend and then up at the complex and then back at Yunho. “Y-you live here?” he asked pointing at the complex and Yunho nodded.
“I live on the 4th floor.”
“4-4th f-floor?”
“Yeah, but everything is a mess since I haven’t had time to unpack properly.” Yunho said and grabbed a hold of Leeteuk’s hand. “Come on.”
Leeteuk was dragged to the elevator by Yunho and into the 4th floor where he had just been a few minutes ago. When they were heading to Yunho’s apartment Leeteuk wished that they wouldn’t go past Kangin’s condo, but they were getting nearer to it so Leeteuk hoped that they would pass threw it quickly so the teacher wouldn’t see them or hear them. Leeteuk didn’t want Kangin to see him go inside another man’s apartment. They came to a stop and Leeteuk was shocked to see where they had stopped.
“You live here?” Leeteuk said pointing at the door that was right across Kangin’s condo.
Yunho nodded and got his key to open the door. On the other hand Leeteuk got pale when he heard the door to Kangin’s apartment being opened. He wanted to run so Kangin wouldn’t see him but it was too late, even if he ran he wouldn’t be able to hide. He hoped that Yunho would open the door before the one coming out from across came out completely, but he wasn’t that lucky.
“Mr. Kim, nice to see you again.” Yunho greeted.
“Yunho ssi, how did you like the college?” Kangin asked.
“It’s great. Oh do you know Park Jungsu? He is my childhood friend.” Leeteuk had no choice but to turn around and face Kangin.
“Nice meeting you Mr. Kim.” Leeteuk bowed.
Kangin was a little confused on why Leeteuk acted like he didn’t know him but he played along. “Nice to meet you too Jungsu ssi.”
“I thought you two may know each other since Leeteuk attend the same college where you work and he had just came out of here…”
“I was here because one of my classmates lives in this building.” Leeteuk lied again making Kangin clench his fists.
Kangin didn’t know why he felt like grabbing Leeteuk and taking him into his apartment, but he knew he shouldn’t because his fiancée is inside and Leeteuk was a student. He admitted he felt attracted to Leeteuk, but he had to ignore it because he loved Yoonji.
“Yunho, let’s go inside. Mr. Kim must have stuff to do.” Leeteuk said and Yunho nodded.
“We’ll see you later Mr. Kim.” Yunho bowed.
“Call me Kangin”
Yunho finally opened the door to his apartment and let Leeteuk in first and then he entered while Leeteuk walked towards the elevator.
