Chapter 3
That afternoon as the children said their goodbyes to Sungmin and Hankyung, as Sungmin and Hankyung got into the car, Hankyung could not help but comment on how elusive Sungmin was being to him. He also commented on how distracted Sungmin was.
"Is there anything wrong, Minnie?" Hankyung asked as he started the car.
"Its nothing hyung." Sungmin lied
"You could never pull that off, Sungmin." Hankyung told him with a smile. "Tell me what you're thinking about or should i guess."
"I'm not thinking about anything." Sungmin replied again
"Wanna try again." Hankyung said stopping the car because it was a red light leaning his face close to Sungmin. When Hankyung saw Sungmin blush and closed his eyes Hankyung gave a smirk and turned back in his seat. Seeing that the light was about to turn green. "So that's what you're thinking about."
"What am I thinking about?" Sungmin asked this time looking out the window.
"I'll show you when we get to the parking complex of our dorm." Hankyung said showing Sungmin his smirk
"What will you show me, hyung." Sungmin asked once again trying to look as innocent as he protrayed himself to be in the public eyes.
"That does not work on me, Sungmin and you know it." Hankyung said "Listen, i've been thinking about you for sometime now and maybe you and i can get to know each other better."
"Hyung," Sungmin said touching his hyung's hand that was on the gear shift. "We are close aren't we?"
"You know what i mean, Sungmin." Hankyung said "I know you're not that oblivious."
"What about Heechul hyung then?" Sungmin inquired looking a little sad. "I don't want to be a replacement or a subtitute."
"Heechul has already moved on Min." Hankyung said "I have as well. I was never one to be implusive."
But somehow in the deepest part of Hankyung's heart he knew he was lying and also hoping that soon he will be able to forget abot Heechul and give his heart to Sungmin. Min looks like he deserves someone who can be given someones full heart. He knew Min will take care of him if he does.
"Hyung, it's just..." Sungmin sentence was cut short when he felt his hyungs hand on his.
"Min, you don't have to give me an answer right now." Hankyung said as they pulled into the car park of the dorm. "Just go on a date with me the day after you go with Kyuhyun. I don't want to intrude on the day with your best friend."
"I'll think about it hyung." Sungmin said with a smile starting to get out of the car but Hankyung held his hand and pulled him back in. Sungmin looked at Hankyung nearly crossed eyes because of how near the other man was. "Hyung, what are you doing?"
"I told you I'd show you what had you so elusive and distracted back at the hospital right?" Hankyung said with a smile when he saw Sungmin close his eyes. He kissed him lightly at first but then deepend it when he saw that Sungmin didn't pull away. Sungmin for his part kissed back once more trying to assert his own dominacance but that was short live as Hankyung started to suck on his toung everytime Sungmin entered the latters mouth.
"That's just a preview." Hankyung said as he pulled away. "i'll show you more if you show up for our date."
"I see what i can do hyung." Sungmin said smiling
With that Sungmin and Hankyung walked to the elevator as the both held the empty pick nick basket only their fingers touching. Since it was only 7 o clock and it was dinner time Yesung was coming in and out of the kitchen because Ryeowook was the only person preparing dinner. Hankyung and Sungmin walked into the kitchen carrying the basket still. Ryeowook secretly smiled noticing how Hankyung hyungs hand secretly held Sungmin Hyung's hand using the basket as a cover.
"Wookie, what are you doing?" Sungmin said "Why are you making dinner for seven people on your own?"
"You know that Yesung hyung is no good in the kitchen." Ryeowook replied "Donghae hyung and Hyukjae hyung is no where to be found. I would not like to be the one to go into that room."
"And where is our baby Kyu then?" Sungmin asked lifting an eye brow.
"Do you even have to ask." Hankyung said
"Is that pick nick basket still heavy?" Yesung asked out of the blue.
"No, its empty." Sungmin replied without even thinking. "Wae?"
"If that's the case then why is it taking the two of you to carry it?" Yesung obeserved.
Ryeowook for his part bit back a laught and glared at his oblivious boyfriend. Sungmin let got of the pick nick basket and blushed a little. Ryeowook could have killed yesung right then and there. His boy friend had no tact at times.
"I'll just go change and help you cook, Wookie." Sungmin told the eternal magnae with a smile. "You can rest hyung, we'll call you when dinner is ready."
"Aren't you tired as well, hyung?" Ryeowook asked
"Not at all." Sungmin informed him.
"Min, just go change and I'll put these things away." Hankyung offered "When you come back I'll go to my room."
With that Sungmin happily went into the room he shared with Kyuhyun to find the magnae tapping away on his laptop while going on a killing spree.
"Kyuhyun, you could have help Wookie out in the kitchen you know." Sungmin said changing clothes. "Besides his not only making his dinner you know."
"Minnie hyung, you know as much as I do that Ryewookie would only have a harder time with me there." Kyuhyun said not even bothering to look at his hyung. "Besides, Yesung hyung is there to help him out."
"Like that will help." Sungmin said "Have you planned what we will be doing tomorrow?"
"I say we just wing it." Kyuhyun replied "Now please hush I'm trying to win here."
"Fine, we'll talk later." Sungmin told him. I'll go help Wookie first."
With that Sungmin left the room to help Ryewook and the two of them were done in like 20 minutes. Yesung volunteered to call Kyuhyun and the rest out to dinner. Well maybe not Donghae and Eunhyuk. They would just have to leave them some food in the table.
The dinner was light and breeze, it was also relaxed with jokes thrown in the cost of the people who were absent. Yesung volunteered to do the dishes and Kyuhyun automatically thank his hyung and pulled Sungmin to their room before his favorite hyung had a chance to offer his help. As they were walking out of the kitchen Hankyung came in with dessert but Sungmin said he had enough of sweets for the day. Kyuhyun could not help but hear as Hankyung hyung wishpered "Think about what i said, Min and then let me know." Then Hankyung walked back into the kitchen/dinning room giving Minnie a kiss on the forehead. Kyuhyun tightened his grip on Sungmin's wrist when he hurried this. Sungmin followed Kyuhyun while trying to pull his hand away.
"Kyu, what has you so mad?" Sungmin asked when they entered their room and he was happy he was able to pull his wrist away.
"You're going to spend the day with Hankyung hyung again aren't you?" Kyuhyun accused "You promised me that we can spend the day together, Min."
"Kyuhyun, he asked me to think about going on a date with him." Sungmin told him truthfully. "But I have not given him an answer as to when and where and if i want to go."
"Why would you go?" Kyuhyun asked
"Kyu, its not like you don't know I'm gay." Sungmin said "Besides I can't think of a reason not to go out with him, can you?"
Kyuhyun could not keep his jealousy and anger in check anymore. Sungmin, his Minnie was getting pulled away from him. He did not like that one bit.
"You know what fine." Kyuhyun said "Just go have your date with Hankyung hyung even it's tomorrow see if I care."
"Kyu, I told you it was not tomorrow." Sungmin told him. "Tomorrow is a day for you and me."
"I don't want to be your second choice." Kyuhyun said
"What?" Minnie asked
"Never mind." Kyuhyun replied taking his laptopand pillow plus a blanket.The Magnae was ready to walk out of the room. Sungmin hot on his tracks. "Did you kiss him already?"
"Kyuhyun, what has gotten into you?" Sungmin yelled "I was not going to break a promise and the second question is not your concern."
"You know what you didn't." Kyuhyun replied seeing Hankyung hyung reading a book in the living room. "I'm breaking it for you, spend the day going on your date with Hankyung hyung fucking the day lights out of each other."
Ryeowook and Yesung stoped dead in their tracks as they were walking towards their room.
"Kyuhyun!" Sungmin said but Kyuhyun already turned on his computer and went back to his game. "You know what fine."
Sungmin said marching up to Hankyung and giving him a kiss that literally had the other man's arms wrap around the smaller frame of Sungmin's immediately.
"You sleep in our room, I'll share Hyung's room tonight." Sungmin said "I would love to go on a date with you Hankyung hyung."
Sungmin pulled Hankyung towards the older's room leaving Kyuhyun and the other two standing frozen. When Hankyung and Sungmin were in the room, Sungmin just laid down and Hankyung wrapped his arms around Sungmin.
"Hyung?" Sungmin said
"Ssssh, just rest." Hankyung said turning on his lap so he could read.
While outside Kyuhyun was left speechless. Ryeowook patted the magnae's shoulder.
"I don't kow what ticked you off this time." Ryeowook said "But you could have handled it nicely and stayed in the running for Minnie hyung's heart."
"I agree." Yesung said with a smirk "Night Kyuhyunnnie baby."
With that Kyuhyun was left alone.
