HELLA of my ikea furniture has mold on it. is there any way for me to salvage my furniture, or am i gonna have to break bread and spread a grip to replace it all? any tips, pointers, answers would help.
by furniture, i mean:
- bedside drawers - they mold's inside the drawer, underneath the platforms that hold up my shit...and the mold's starting to permeate through to the other side.
- coffee table - the mold's on the entire underside of the table.
- bookshelves - they're on the cardboard backing
it's like the mold knew the most significant furniture i owned, and then attacked it all. granted, this is just the visible mold for now. i haven't moved my shit around to see if the mold's gotten on anything else that i just can't see yet. to replace it all, it would cost about $200 so far. would it just be better to buy all these items again, or pay a professional to try and salvage them? is there a home remedy that is fool proof? (my worst nightmare would be to try and move all my furniture to my new spot and end up bringing the fckn mold into my new spot)
help!
