I had a sudden thought whilst I was still asleep that I set my alarm the night before & adjusted the time, but forgot the most crucial thing... to turn actually turn the alarm on. Then I woke. I wasn't wrong. I was meant to meet Tel &co. for ice-skating @the Jurong rink around 11ish - I had woken @10. After much rushing &a lot of bitterness towards knowing I should take public but can't due to time constraints, I got my butt out of the house. I made two attempts @catching a taxi, both had no idea where my destination. When the second one repeated "Fishy?" after I had clearly said "FUJI ICE PALACE PLEASE." I knew it was time to give up &apologise profusely to Tel for ditching last minute. Then I made my way to Orchard by bus/MRT to meet her there @130ish, I really detest how expensive taxi rides are.
George texted me quite a bit today &I felt like he was persuading me to dislike Rei. I hope he ends up going out with Clare, then our friendship can resume as normal... that's all I've really wanted for a long time. We've arranged to meet for dinner on tuesday @7ish - I'm seeing him in the hopes of making ammends &leaving on good terms. He seemed happy enough when he agreed to thankfully(-: After my favourite salad &Tel's calamari(as is tradition) @Spagheddi's we walked to Far East in search of something formal-ish she might wear to Shaun's leaving party on monday(supposedly it's Clay's leaving party as well). I still feel its a bit random that I was invited - I have no classes with either of them whatsoever &I've barely exchanged 5words with either throughout the year. Oh well, I hate it when people leave so I'm glad I get to say "bye" anyway, even if we're not the tightest of friends.
In any case, we went around. I managed to buy Kevin a new khaki-green cap from Billabong for Father's Day this sunday), I was satisfied with the purchase &that lifted my day. I am slightly worried it won't fit though because its not one of those adjustable types, it just has this bit of elastic on the inside. I'm thrilled to be granted the chance to stop him from wearing the lurid red Angel's cap which fails to match anything he wears. We took sticker photos, 2sets(again, as is tradition) then sat down @Cathay Cineleisure for two scoops of ice-cream. I had cookies& cream(-:
It comforted me alot that I can use Skype while I'm abroad - Tiff found a method of calculating the time difference... when I'm in the states I have to minus 8 hours from the time &then in Singapore it's that time but a day ahead.
It also makes me happy to wear my favourite pair of comfy shorts which Button gave to me just yesterday, I love them an unusual much! Ever since I first wore them(remember I mentioned them that night we had dinner where I ate meat on a veggie-day?), I liked them so much &I think it was blatantly apparent. He said I could have it that day but I didn't really think he meant it... you know how people say stuff but never pull through? Because he had broken a scarf-promise yesterday, he stuffed it in my bag inconspicuously - a lovely surprise. Of course they are coming with me to the States(-: I can even imagine wearing them on my long 16hour plane ride there.

Uncle H. in Sweden sent an e to Tiff saying Martin &Leon are going to be in L.A. during summer... they are keen to meet up with Harald &I! I am beyond excited now(-: I really want to see Leon, I think that could actually make my summer so simply. Children are a joy, no joke.
