Oh did I mention? About a week ago I got my fill of 500Days of Summer. I had said I wanted to see it... and so I saw it... twice!! When I first saw it with Tel, I left feeling unresolved, as though the end had ruined the entire movie. The second time... not so much. It isn't really about love at all, as much as it is about reality and truth... like it had warned in the start. It confirms my stance on the Love Cycle thing, you fall in love, you fall out of it. I do not think you can be in love with the same person forever.... And how everything you once loved about a person could be hated with the same intensity. It makes sense, doesn't it? The same person that can fill you with such happiness, can also cause you the most misery. It is how you know how much you like someone, is it not? But how real it is aside, I like it for the style with which the story is told. It is appropriate to the plot! Here is a movie I think I'd buy.
I have also really been wanting to buy the soundtrack. It is the perfect balance of mixture and variety, paired with a distinct relevance to the content of the movie. Each song is so aptly chosen, so appropriate! Which is what makes a soundtrack effective, correct? I checked Borders before I left but it wasn't there! Perhaps I will go again today if I have the time. Tiff is offering all you can eat ice-cream buffet... but I am thinking I will go for a proper home-cooked lunch/dinner at another's house. I love it when people cook for me! It is filled with love :)
This picture reminds me that I've been wanting to make jam! And Wallace reminded me the other night.... I think I underestimate the difficulty of things, but if it wasn't in my nature to do that, then I'd never do anything!
Oh, and how I talked about my clothing choices a post back? It is quite awkward when some of Kevin's clothes end up in my drawer because Beth has assumed the men's shirt to be mine.... Also that I find Tiff's underwear in my drawer.
