I went to see it last night! It was so so SO good! now i know why a) it took so long, and b) why we waited so patiently all that time!
It started surprising with a very sad part of the story i hadn't seen coming. before long we're plunged into the most beautiful forest world i have ever seen! the creatures, the trees, the flowers everything is gorgeous, especially the people. i want to be a Na'vi! (almost as much as i want to be an elf =P) and its not just visually stunning, there's a hell of a story there, heartbreaking, awe-inspiring and empowering all at once. but i'm not going to re tell it here, you'll have to find out yourself!
And finally, but by no mean least in import, The 3-D was like no other 3-D i've experienced before. it was breathtaking, the whole thing! i want to see it again and again and again. =) i cannot urge you enough to go and see it 3-D in the Cinema, don't wait and buy the 2-D on dvd! you have to feel it atleast once!
You wont be disappointed.
