(no subject)
i havnt updated here for a while. so much has changed!
ummmm well. i was going to perth and my work decided to pull the pin on that for me so im sussing out when i can actually go now. its tuff. i have a show booked every two weeks as on the 9th july so spare time is something hard to come by.
latest dilemma = east brisbane bowls club (the licensed all ages venue ive been using since last year) were shut down the week before last. The liquor licensing authority canned their all ages gigs due to kids drinking in the park next door along with them having a license which meant they could have kids there IF they had an adult with them. It sucks because if east brissy had of made that clear to me rather than hiding it i couldve worked around that.. but oh well whats done is done.
So my last two weeks have been spent searching desperately for a new venue. Up until this week ive been just cruising along looking at venues when i get a chance thinking "oh yeah my next show isnt till the 15th of july (asd cd launch)" but apparently there was a bit of miscommunication between greg against & stronghold, where greg hadnt actually booked in a gig for them. Now im stuck with doing it.. and i cant say no because i LOVE that band! haha so after going through about 11 venues im now down to a tiny place in the valley called visible ink who are calling me back today/ tomorrow to confirm. its so hard to find venues that are all ages!! so fingers crossed on visible ink!!! i only have 10 days left till the atchel show! Atleast the bands are booked (jul 9 - stronghold, the war, forever fighting, powerslam)
ontop of that im going to sydney on friday as in the day after tomorrow... so i have to get the venue sussed by tomorrow.
hardcore is going to be mad though.. i just hope stress from this show/tour doesnt kill me before i get there! haha last nerve & hitlists last show is a sad sad day. im gona be like an eagle eye for someone there with a video camera & then im going to threaten their life if they dont agree to giving me a copy. :)

i started seeing a guy called luke, he's a whole lot younger than me & i dunno if its agreeing with me or not yet. hes a nice dude.. when he's sober! haha pawel keeps telling me i shouldnt lead him on. but imnot doing anything! im one of those losers that hates being tied down.
ummmmmm so yeah my life is revolving around shows & venues atm. clearly i have no life its a bit rugged.
