(no subject)
Recent events in the life of Laijin:
-I converted from being an athiest to budhism to being nothing. Now im religion-less..or part of deism.
I had like a friggin 3 hour conversation with my uncle(who is a pastor or something) about religion. He was trying to convince me that christianity was the only correct religion out there. His main points?
1. God is real.
2. The Bible was written by man, but inspired by god.
3. There has to be only one god.
And while he did an excellent job convincing me of 1 out of the 3 points(the third one), im still not sure. So now im on a quest for "understanding"
-Today my mom got a room for us for AWA 11(For two nights, Friday and Saturday). Wow..excitement. Along with my sister and I, Carlos is probably gonna share..probably not. Then some other girl..and probably one or two people who I choose that are intrested in sharing the room. They'll have to pay $40 a night and sleep on the floor(or couch..or something). Anyone intrested?
-I have yet to begin on my costume. Nobody has taken me to go get my materials yet T_T And wigs are expensive as hell
-My little party has been delayed cause my brother actually got a job. Amazing...so~..I have to wait until he sets a day where he is off(or something..)
-Im gonna be an uncle. My brother got his girlfriend pregnant a few monthes ago.
-I rented Guilty Gear Isuka over Guilty Gear X2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. OMG...that was a horrible decision. Since I havnt played a fighting game in like..forever..I forgot that they are ONLY fun with other people. Or better yet..they get old really fast if you have no one to play with. With this in mind..only limited amount of fun could be obtained through playing this game. Why?
First:
1. Its a fighting game and I have nobody else to play with.
2. The learning curve is steep as hell. It is IMPOSSIBLE to beat this game on Normal. I can barely do it on Easy...so obviously hard and maniac levels are even more impossible.
3. The learning curve with some characters are steep..but overall..the controls are complicated as hell. They have counter buttons. Counter counter buttons..counter counter counter buttons...some of the special moves are pretty difficult to pull off. They EVEN have a TURN button. Which is used to turn your character around(this is a 2d fighting game..). That button is needed since it is a 4 player fighting game..and without it..the game would get even more complicated. But the turn button is sometimes non responsive...which is just plain bad when you NEED it.
