Ready for the final breakdown?

Last night I watched Children of Men on TV. First time I watched a whole movie since...my birthday. And oh gosh it was such a...horrifying great movie. Seriously, I think more touching than this only Blindness, adapted from one of Saramago's works. These kind of films, of what could possibly be our future just give me the chills. Evenmore because the chaotic confronts depicted in them don't seem too different from what we see in the news everyday =/ Also, the violent scenes also felt way too real for comfort, even having the camera splattered with blood at times (pretty sure that's a Trope.)

That said, the part that touched me more was when everyone stopped firing when they saw the baby. That was like, the miraculous event of the film. I didn't like the ending very much because it was like '...yeah and then what? It ends like this?' It seemed incomplete to me, but that's just my view.

Yeah all in all I'm glad I'm not one to watch this type of movies often as they kill any hope on humankind even more.

Unrelated, but why to I have to stare at Paranormal Activity 3 trailer everytime there is a break on that channel >_>; I'm so much better without that kind of thing! T^T

war of men, random, horror, movies, realistic movies, doomsday
