Email Notifications

A lot of people seem to be having problems with LJ email notifications. Well I had those problems as well but they've been solved. Here's my humble explanation and respective solution XD The problem is not with LJ, it's with Hotmail. The other day (Saturday I think) I went to check for new emails, as I do everyday, and I was surprised to see that I had none. Well I have 5 active RP characters and to have null replies from the RPs is virtually impossible. Besides when I checked my journals I saw that I had received replies. So the problem could either be with LJ or Hotmail. After cursing at LJ and Hotmail I decided to create an accout at Gmail, just to see if it would work. After changing some settings in my journals I started receiving notifications at my new email account. So yeah the problem seems to be with Hotmail and not LJ. To any of you who have Hotmail I advise that you change your notifications to any other email account you have or to create an account just like I did. It's simple and saves us trouble with unreplied comments.
So, I hope this helps someone XD

Note: If you don't use email from Hotmail but still don't receive notifications I have no idea what the problem is XD
