ok so heres the deal about my life. regretmenot as of recent has finally started to take off. i mean before we had songs and played a few (really lame) shows but whatever there are tons of local bands on the same level. lately though weve finally started to take it to the next level. corey is back in the band and cameron audet plays guitar for us now. you can check cams website here (http://www.topbunkmedia.com/) when you're done with this...or if you dont want to read this anymore(and yes he has actually worked with the bands you see on his page). so yeah. weve been writing all new songs, which i must say are way catchier, more technical, rockin then the old ones. we're actually taking time in our writing as opposed to our previous thinking which was "lets write a bunch of songs over the next few weeks". so sorry for people that want to hear and are waiting but were taking our time cause we want it to be the best it can be. man ive been ranting about this band for awhile....so i think ill keep going. we should have a free 3 track demo in the next two months so pass that around and get the word out and we are playing the palladium in november. keep in mind there is still a ways to go before we take it on the road. as of right now we need to save up a bit over 2000 dollars (which we are all throwing in for). me, cam, rich, and corey went to daddys junky music today to get a rough estimate and to pick out the exact equipment we would be getting. im getting a korg minisynth4:$400 and a few decent big PA moniters which cam can get for about 200 , cam is getting a line6 head:$400 for his cab and a mic:50, rich is getting a line6head and cab:300...and we didnt factor in all the cables itll take to hook all that up. but whatever. we've all talked and are dedicating 100% to this. coming up with the money and doing anything we can...and it helps that cam knows a few people. but anyway we all click really well and ive basically been spending all my time with cam, corey, rich, and rachel (rachel is our manager/merch girl/mom/second coolest girl on earth) and lets face it if your gonna be in a band thats trying to get somewhere you gotta love your bandmates.t
thats the story, i love my band, our music is better, and we are finally watching dreams turn to reality even if it is barely the beginning of the journey. we are still having trouble finding a constant bassist (austin is missed greatly and dan just wasnt able to commit) so if you know anyone who is GOOD at bass and wants to be dedicated to this let me know on aim.
