I have a computer again!
Oh my god the novelty!
Getting this thing fixed has just been the most utter nightmare, with me finally losing my temper and demanding that my insurance people send me out an engineer (again) as the first one was bloody useless. The second one, god bless the man, did a bit of trial and error, figured out was wrong, and fixed it. It took him about twenty minutes to fix a problem that I've been plagued with for about 7 weeks.
I'm glad some people know how to do their job anyway. Am seriously considering ringing out the insurance people and telling them that this engineer was fantastic and I was really impressed. Too often do people just complain, must be nice to hear some positive feedback once in a while.
Anyway, yay! computer!
shall be returning to YM the minute my virus software is re-downloaded.
