The Manic Street Preachers *squeeeees uncontrollably*
OMG I am back in love again. The beautiful Nicky Wire resplendent firstly in Leopard print, leather and lots of eyemake-up and then back out again in a white doctors coat (it looked like anyway) and a pink feathery skirt and white knee length socks. Nice glimpse of his leopard print boxers when he stood on top of the amp - such a slut :D
And the way the audience did the guitar tune to acoustic archives of pain (acoustic archives of pain - insane!!!!) and then mocked us for being shit at keeping in time. And the way he caught the halls soothers was quite impressive.
Got teased with the intro to PCP, Sleepflower and Mausoleum, which was frustrating.
Just wish I had a picture of feathery Nicky Wire... *pouts* So heres an old one instead...
I'm so glad to see the skirts making appearances again though.
Nearly cried so many times during the gig... was just fantastic - one of the best ever. Nearly everyone was crying with the sheer emotional quality. Surprised myself with exactly how mental i got - jumping up and down like an maniac to Faster, Yes, You Love Us, Motorcycle Emptiness, Design for Life, Tsunami, god... everything. Can't think of a best song. Just can't. Was all fantastic.
