And, ouch!
The Doctor has got my mind and my soul and my language))))
I got lost in English with Torchwood from day one, so to speak.
But it took me a whole season, and maybe a part of the second one, to get lost in Dr Who. Theeeen, I got interested!
And nooooow! Well, RP doesn't exactly cling to me, it's easier to switch back to GA mode, but I've got quite a nice large piece of information on PR and types. British types. And that means there's a hope, even if a small one, I'd switch into British.
The thing I was saying in the first place is that I'm definitely profoundly English-speaking at the moment and quite afraid I'd start speaking to strangers (or not really strangers) in English. Though, I suppose, there's something stronger inside me to prevent it. Russian is after all much easier for me and it'll be quite strange to reply in English when addressed in Russian, won't it?
But the thing is, that dream in the morning and the thing I said about this person being connected to my studies of English. You know, we spoke English and I had to remind myself more than once that there was no need to do that. But somehow I just slipped back into English. Dreaming in English, even if that was a half-awake dream, is definitely something new.
I'm not going mad, that's for sure, but I'm just getting involved. I suppose I should switch onto BBC news before the exams. I'd be living in it, speaking it, listening to it, so why not jot down the ideas to retell in the exam audition?
Should work out)))
