I had the most awesome day.
1. I don't know how many of you know what I do for 'paid' work, but I work for a state government department and I collect data. Yes I am a BIG data nerd!!!! LOVE good data quality.
I run these data quality reports each month using a program called 'Discoverer' to extract the data and Excel to manipulate and make the data look pretty (i.e. produce the reports). I would also have to use Macros in Excel to work through the data to get counts etc.
ANYHOW our unit purchased this fangdangle new data reporting program called SAS (Enterprise) and I have been trying to learning it over the past couple of months. At first it was horrible and I couldn't make sense of it. BUT TODAY I WAS ON FIRE AND RUNNING A WHOLE STACK OF QUERIES SO THAT THE REPORTS NOW TAKE JUST ONE STEP. YAY ME.
I actually didn't want to go home this arvo and can't wait to go to work tomorrow.
2. Purchased some cheap fans for the ball, 6 all up only costing $10.
3. Purchased come really cool belts for my pirate costume.
