Actually, I did bounce off my head when I came down -- "Only lamers wear helmets" FTW!!! I don't even want to think about what might've happened if I hadn't been wearing mine. I'm well aware that, as much as this all sucks, I actually ended up rather lucky.

dude, that sucks, Lahat.. didn't you learn the first rule of crashing, tuck and roll..tuck and roll...

I did that once, but I landed flat on my back and knocked the wind out of me. It took about 2-3 minuted for me to even start breathing without gasping. I am glad you are ok.

Thanks. Although I believe that "tuck and roll" is probably what I actually did -- I think that I flipped upside down in the air because, as soon as I came off the ramp going so much higher and faster than I'd expected/planned, I instinctively curled up into a ball in mid-air. After that, I just fell from the sky like somebody'd airballed a basketball shot.
