That was so sweet!! A delightful read and I devoured it joyfully. I always also pictured Kirk being niserable during those years (and who wouldn't considering he's separated from his beloved) and you captured it greatly.

I'm not so sure about fish and cats being sold at a Vulcan market or T'Pring's question to Spock there but I loved your explanation about her - the pregenancy I mean. It makes sense and again combines logic and emotion perfectly.

And I like the present form of writing - it gave me such an "life" feeling and had a good impact.

Oh, and the art to the story is adorable!!

I didn't actually come up with the pregnancy idea - I've seen it in a few other fics - but it makes sense to me. And there are so many fics where T'Pring is portrayed as just plain evil that I wanted to take a different approach.
