New stuff
Well we had to buy our first new car today. In addition to being unemployed for months without telling me, Scott also wrecked his car. Of course it all happens at the same time. We finally were able to get someone to look at it for an estimate and all the body shops are full up until February. So we went and got a new car today. It took forever. We ended up with a Chevy Equinox, red. You can never have too many red cars, right? Our payments are high, but it's because we've never had to finance a car before. Sucks, but there it is. I love it. I feel guilty for loving it. It's a big gas guzzling tank, and my lefty liberal heart tells me I should have gotten a Prius, but I didn't. So tomorrow, I'm taking my big tank up to Austin to visit Leslie and Scott Wilson has a job interview with Wal-mart. Hopefully he'll realize how much he has to have a job now.
