I totally fail at updating!!!
I realize that I've pretty much neglected my LJ since I started working...
I do wonder, though, if anybody still even bothers to check up on my LJ since most of the people who used to are now over at Facebook and we tend to just do our catching up over there instead of here... >_> Hmmm...
At any rate, for the benefit of those who do still check up on me via LJ:
1) The whole deal with The-Great-Love-That-is-No-More... is finally done. Yes, he promised to marry me. Yes, he promised me the moon and the stars and all that crap. Yes, he sent me a message telling me he still loved me - and that he always will - 3 weeks before he was marrying some other girl. Yes, he e-mailed me an invitation to his wedding even after I told him not to get in touch with me anymore. BUT! He did get married last Nov.10. I am hoping that that is the long awaited period to that story that just wouldn't end. I am done crying over him. He cannot break any more promises he's made to me. And he definitely won't be breaking my heart anymore. I can smile my usual genuine smiles now. He isn't a lose end anymore. I can finally REALLY move on.
2) I just realized all over again what an awesome support group I have. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and an awesome, AWESOME family!!! At the risk of sounding like some actress-wannabe receiving a trophy on some awards show, please allow me to thank those who helped me piece my heart back together and have given me my smile back: Mommy, Daddy, Yce, Mac-Mac, Ogie, Koket, Jepoy, Cecille, Teta, Hazel, Donna, Joyann, Eunisse, Dee, Suyin, Ai-chan, Sugar-chan. Thank you so very much for being there.Thank you, thank you, thank you! *glomps and clings* ^_^ Lia and Christina, we haven't known each other for very long, but just the fact that you girls were there and were willing to listen, that really helped me out a lot. Thank you!
3) Work has been keeping me fairly occupied. I do wish I could have more hours, but it's all good for now. I am having tons of fun at work! ^_^ I work for some amazing doctors. I also happen to be working with some of the sweetest girls imaginable! And I meet some of the nicest and most interesting people at work!
4) I am still writing. Yes. Very secretly. I haven't posted any new stories since that one time I posted that drabble-ish piece under a different pen name - but I got some fairly good reviews for that one story, so I might be posting some new stories soon... As soon as I get some time to finish those stories I'm working on right now. As for the vampire fic... I know there are some who are still waiting for me to continue that. *sheepish smile* I promise, I am trying to get the second chapter out! I just need a bit more inspiration. (Hopefully, I'll get aforementioned inspiration once I get that paper on Schizophrenia done and out of the way).
5) My family is coming over in 2 weeks for the American Thanksgiving weekend. I am UBER excited about that! ^o^ This is bound to be really fun! I get to see my guitar again! I've missed it so!!! AND I get to jam with my cousins! Fun, fun, fun!!! And ooooooohhh~! Turkey dinner!!! YUM~!
So yeah, that's it for now... I dunno when I'm gonna get to update again, but just know that yes, I am still breathing.
