Tonight a woman was in an accident at Parker and North Freeway. She hit another car at a gas station. Her car, brought to our lot, was not badly damaged at all, a very very small ding in the front bumper. But, she was going to do the responsible thing, and exchange information with the person she hit. I have no idea on the state of their car. Could not have been too damaged, but what do I know? When she got out of her car to speak to the other driver, 2 men stepped out of the back seat and proceeded to pistol whip the lady. They stole her wallet, I don't know what else, and left her there at the station when the gas station attendant called the police. I saw this lady when she and her husband came to retrieve her vehicle. She was badly beaten up, and her husband was upset, as well. This is a warning, not just to the ladies, either. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO: STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE LOCK YOUR DOORS, GO INSIDE THE BUSINESS to exchange information, even if you were at fault, and call the police if it looks like a bad situation. If this happens on the street, walk, if you aren't hurt, to the nearest public/crowded place. She got beaten up because she was trying to do the right thing. Everyone, please, please be careful.
