its only the second chapter but i am really enjoying this story a lot so far. i love how self-loathing you write Dean because if it was an AU world i could believe he'd be like that. if it makes sense. anyway awesome chapter.

Thank you! I really wanted to write Dean in a similar way to how he is on the show, and still needing Castiel to save him, even though he's had a normal life

I know, it was quite painful to write Dean sometimes. He reminded me of myself a lot.

But yay Cas! Of course he was going to come along to grip Dean tight and raise him from... the pond.
