All I can say is that it's been an unpredictable year for sure. Having the opportunity to go home for six months was exciting, though I couldn't have predicted what would have happened when I came home. Working at Lucas was...interesting. But when I got a chance to leave behind my typical 60 hour work weeks and either explore the city or just catch my breathe it was gratifying.
Came back to Hell-A with the doors wide open to endless and uncertainty, but eventuallly I have succeeded career wise with getting my production assistant position at Nickelodeon and finally getting a project I'm working on into the public spot light. It looks like, as far as job asspects go things should be smooth sailing. Socially, though, things have started to slide into the shitter, but it's things like that that can turn in the opposite direction so quickly, so I try and look to the future.
So looking toward the last year of this first decade of the new century, I wonder if it will be like the last eights years. Those past eight have seemed like a wild ride with it's ups and downs and unpredictibility and occasional excitement. So when I find myself in a pessimistic frame of mind, I'm reminded of the words of Bill Hicks:
