Week ending Sun 20 Sep - 41 miles

Mon 14 40 min bike ride.
Tue 15 6 miles. Club night efforts. Tonight I was able to do my own thing alongside everyone else, which was nice. :) Whilst everyone was doing one lap of one the local fields in pairs, I did 2 laps on my own. Worked out at about 4' per effort, with 4' rest in between. The rest seemed a little excessive, to be honest. 1.5 miles easy there and back.
Wed 16 7 miles slow.
Thu 17 7 miles. 1.5 easy, 4 @ marathon pace, 1.5 easy. Went out with the usual group, who weren't going to entertain 8' miles. I legged it a bit at halftime and then we generally picked it up together. Not quite the right exercise, but close enough for today. Next week I'll have to do something different.
Fri 18 Rest
Sat 19 7 miles. 15' easy, 25' fartlek, 15' easy. This one worked better, although we should only have done 6 miles. Next time we'll have to use the 5 mile route and do our cool down as an extra lap of the park by the sports centre at the end.
Sun 20 14 miles slow. Very impressed to find that slow feels almost like easy, and still we made it back 2 minutes early.
