I'm glad that you had a lovely New Year's complete with champagne and company =)

Sadly, your holiday card never showed up so I didn't get to witness the wax firsthand. Bad Post Awful!

Damn it!! Stupid assed Post Orifice. I'm sorry you guys didn't get the card.

I'm glad you had a good time on New Year's day, at least you didn't have to spend that day by yourself.

I never did a chance to reply back to you about the beer cheese soup, either. It's very good. I can't remember all the ingredients, I'd have to look for a recipe, but it's a cheese soup flavored with a bottle of beer. VERY tasty, especially with home made bread.

Yes, New Year's day was quite nice and while I thought being alone at midnight would be sad, it really wasn't.

Any excuse to eat homemade bread is worthwhile in my book =)

Glad your New Year's day was fun and the eve wasn't sad for you. Mine usually weren't, they were just another day that came and went.

Homemade bread totally rocks the house. My hands can't do the kneading so I have to depend on the kindness of others. And the occasional visit to an ultra good bakery. I tease the Prince about how he made bread for his first wife but not for me (to be fair, we really don't have the kitchen space for breadmaking).
