2nd Joke | It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

[Looks like The Joker is feeling festive today. His message starts with an attempt at a HO HO HO...but really just turns into psychotic laughter.]
Ohh it really IS the most wonderful time of the year! Soon, the fat man will be bringing gifts to all of the good little girls and boys! I've been thinking, though, all the bad little kids get coal in their stocking, right? Haha! What is WRONG with the fat man?? That stuff's just encouragement for arson! It reveals the conspiracy, that Santa wants to keep the good kids good and the bad kids bad. Moreso, what kind of madman do you have to be to dress in fur and sneak into people's houses and leave behind your old junk! He's got to be insane! Hahahahaha!
Anyway...this is a happy time of the year...but none of you are smiling. That makes The Joker sad.
[Joker's voice turns a little menacing.] Why don't you smile for me? Hehehehehehe....HAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

[True to the spirit of the season, there's a man dressed in fur, the whole Santa getup, along with a large sack slung over his shoulder. Due to a recent regain, the Joker is looking like his old self again...but it's sort of hard to make out his face in the darkness.
True to form, this Santa is also leaving gifts from his big old bag of tricks! He lays the packages down in random areas, on some porches, and in areas that get heavy foot traffic. Each present is wrapped in lime green paper, with a big purple bow!
The tag on each and every gift reads "Do not open 'til X-mas!" Yes, completely Looney Tunes style. The mysterious Santa seems pretty good at being sneaky, too. He moves about the town like some sort of Spec Ops agent...though periodically he'll take the time to dance about, singing a very special Christmas song.]
Jingle bells, Batman smells!
Robin laid an egg!
The Batmobile lost a wheel
And the Joooookerrrr got awwwwaaaaayyyyy! HAHAHA!!

[OOC: Of course, I know some characters might not be able to resist waiting. Various simple toys are held within each gift...but every single package has a surprise inside! The Joker hasn't been able to come up with much lethal stuff like he had back home...so it's not going to kill anyone. However, he DID manage to come up with something that will likely put a SMILE on that face! The concoction doesn't keep very long, so opening the gifts closer to Christmas will cause no harm. Opening them within the next couple of weeks, however, will result in a trap! Anyone opening the gifts too soon will be gassed. It won't force a permanent smile or kill...but it will get the individual REALLY, REALLY HIGH. It's not a hallucinogen, just has a pretty super feel-good effect on the human body. It's kind of up to you if your character will be affected, considering all the non-humans about. Joker's banking on curiosity killing the cat...except in this case it's spreading some holiday cheer. The effects will only last a number of hours...he's having difficulty finding good materials around here. Consider this an experiment.
Pretty benign, but this is only the beginning. Characters who want to catch/pursue the Joker will find he kept the NASTY surprises for anyone who wants to stop him. You can either comment stuff here or even make a post for your own characters concerning it! Not really an event...just Joker shenanigans. Have fun!]
