[Phone] (I am regretting this, but...)forgotten_titanNovember 12 2011, 08:21:13 UTC
(When the phone had rang, she had picked it up automatically, just in case it had been the police calling to let her know she had been found, that everything was ok.
Instead, she heard that awful laugh.
She screamed and dropped the receiver on the ground, scrambling away from it like it's a dead body.
Everyone who's anyone from home will know who's got a laugh like that. And the fact that he was here, and that there was no Batman this time...)
She's going to lock her doors and windows tonight.forgotten_titanNovember 12 2011, 08:46:40 UTC
(No, this cannot be happening. This...this can't be it.
But who else can it be then?
Still, she has to ask. She HAS to know.
She crawls towards the receiver carefully, her whole body shaking. This is such a bad idea, she shouldn't do this, she should leave this to an adult...
...but if no one else knows about him, then it's only the right thing for her to find out more before she sends out the warning.
She slowly lifts the receiver up from the floor and places it just close enough for her voice to be heard.)
A-are you...are you...The Joker?
(Her voice is a mere whisper, quivering with fear.)
Who is it...no, NO! Don't tell me! I'll get it eventually!
Two-face? No...not scratchy enough. Pengin? No, no, why would he talk to me, even in my dreams? If I had to talk to the Penguin it'd be more like a nightmare!
It's a lot like a TV show isn't it? It's kinda creepy in that sense. Though, I guess being on a TV show isn't much different then being in anything else. Though a game might be more fun, the kind with real progression at least. I'm not very good at Massively Multiplayer games.

What's this? Responses on my dream phone? Hello, hello? Is this the operator? Can you connect me to Batman please?

[A pause. That's the second time he's heard of this Batman.]
And you mean the man who dresses up like a giant bat to fight crime, right?

Now that's more what my dreams are like! Screaming over the telephone!
Well, it's usually just screaming all over the place. Aren't you supposed to wake up when you realize you're having a dream?
Oh, what the hell. It's fun either way! It's even more of a joke when you realize you're dreaming!!

Why yes, the Clown Prince of crime, the Ace of Knaves, The Joker, at your service my dear!!
Hmmm...if this is a dream I should be able to fly and stuff, like that Superman character, right??
