Spent about an hour trying to track down a song I'd heard on an HBO2 commercial. Honestly, there's nothing like finally finding what the fuck you're looking for in the vast internet, lol. Turns out the song is called "LES Artistes" by the band Santogold who hail from BK! And after pawing through the rest of the songs featured on their myspace, I realize I've heard and dug quite a few of them! They're definitely funky and remind me a lot of M.I.A. who I also love. Which means...video time!
"Lights out" is pure NY summer fun music. It even sounds like BK to me.
"The Creator" makes me think of Blade or Underworld for some reason. Very seedy, underground club sound. Get me a drink and let's seduce each other.
"LES Artistes" just cries for a hardcore hook up, really. You know, after two people fight their feelings for a long while and then, suddenly, com-fucking-bust. >_>
And, of course, some M.I.A. with "Paper Planes". Goddamn, I love this chick! All Ville's fault, naturally, lol.
Oh, and a random kiss between Ville and Bert, just 'cuz I can. Moohaha! :-P
