Neat. I love reading about things like this and whether or not they work. My friend Lisa makes amazing soap (she's been doing it for years, and sells her stuff). She's over at www.fetosoap.com -- I think there might be some resource links or something.

I found the borax at walmart but i had to go to a grocery store for the washing soda.

that is so awesome! i'm going to try it. it will help since it's 2 dollars of quarters to wash and dry a load in the laudry room down the hall.

It's easy and only takes a few minutes well to make, then you have to let it sit for a day. i'm definitely going to keep doing it. :)

if you've been using liquid detergent i would suggest keeping one of the bottle and pouring your detergent into it. That would probably make it a lot easier for you since you have to use a shared laundry room.
