Stuff's here and there *spoilers all over~*
Ho yeah, 2 weeks into the new year and still no post that need to be put into a cut from me XD. So here I am, typing away~
So, of what topic shall I type out this fine day XD
O.To.Na.Ri -
Oh my goooddd~~ I love this moooviiieee~ A very simple movie, with a very interesting theme. I like the fact that they fell in love because of the sounds they make in their own houses, and the fact that Nanao recognizes the jingle of Satoshi's keys even in the middle of a crowd. Sure the fact that they were actually from the same middle school and they actually saw each other in their old school without knowing who they really were, but I can forgive that fact because they didn't(or couldn't) actually establish any contact with each other then.
So yeah, for the director to show the scene of them acknowledging each other as the person that have been living next door as the ultimate last scene of the movie is the right thing to do, and just a TAD frustrating. BUT!! It redeemed itself with the short Satoshi and Nanao's conversation during the credits is just. Plain. GENIUS!
Just the plain fact that the conversation takes place when both of them came back from their travels and have finally settled in together, though we don't really know whether they actually moved in together or not because we don't actually see them in a house, we can only hear them having a conversation. I love it XD
Kagehinata ni Saku -
I don't really know what I can say about this movie... Well for one, it was not what I expected it to be. Not to say I don't like it, just that the movie is just all over the place.... Miyazaki Aoi-chan is so cute~ and Okada-kun with that hairstyle is very very jail-baity, if it weren't for him having his SP physique, he'll pass as a school boy XD
Right... that's all... but don't let this short not-even-a-review stop from watching the movie XD
Taika no Kaishin -
A jidaigeki on Taika no Kaishin, which basically starts with the killing of Soga no Iruka, thus taking away the Soga's family monopoly in the government, and in the following years Japan's name is changed from 倭(Yamato) to 日本(Nihon). And I just realized that this can get VERY LONG so yeah, for further information, HERE.
I don't think I've mentioned it here, but I love jidaigeki. Jidaigeki really brings out the nerd in me. *play* *pause* *opens Wiki* *play* *pause* *rinse and repeat* XDDDD わし時代劇大好きなのじゃ！ And as a result, Atsuhime, Tenchijin and Ryomaden will be downloaded in the next few months XD woohoooot~ *is dead*
And as a bonus Okada-kun in jidaigeki mode complete with the classic Japanese... HUGE PLUS. *HOT* *_*
So, what does all of the movies/specials I listed above have in common?? Okada-kun's in it XD NGYAAA~
Gundam 00 the Movie: Awakening of the Trailblazer:
The long awaited conclusion of the Gundam 00 anime which ended 2 years ago. My thoughts, though it seems rushed a few times I <3 it~ The graphics during the battles is awesome. I don't really mind the storyline or the ending, as tacky as the big giant lily in space sounds XD The only weird thing is the absence of the physically-bulky Gundam (like Gundam Virtue or Seravee Gundam). But all of CB's Gundams has so many attachments attached to it so in turn, EVERYONE's bulky!! XD
Meh in the end the world's united, the war's ended and the young-looking-white-haired-Setsuna's back with Marina. Now I'm waiting for the next Gundam project~ Woohoot~ Gundam nerd in the house~
2010-2011 Johnny's Countdown:
A few win points in this year's countdown.
- Taichi and Inocchi singing Seisyun Amigo - WIN!!!
- Arashi, because that's their only appearance in the whole countdown
- Sakamoto-kun's Zoro mustache!!!
Meh, chaotic as ever, just like previous year's countdown... kekka <3
61st Kouhaku:
Still stuck in the first part of the whole show, I can't stop repeating the Character's Kouhaku, Angela Aki's Kagayaku Hito, Hirahara Ayaka's Voyagers, all of the enka performances, HY's Toki wo Koe, Kumiko's Inori..... Ngeh... <3 most of what I've seen so far and I will finish the damned show by the end of the week... I hope XD
Next in the to-watch list, Wagaya no Rekishi, Niji wo Kakeru Ouhi, Chuushingura (Jidaigeki With Kimura Takuya and Okada-kun XD) 61st Kouhaku's 2nd part >_> a few more random seiyuu stuffs.
